This tiny newborn totally gave me baby fever. When you scroll though these pictures you'll see why! He was completely chill throughout his session. He was cozy, fed, burped, and sleepy making the perfect recipe for newborn poses. You've probably noticed that I keep my newborn posing to simple natural positions. I keep the props to a minimal too. I often use items from around the family's home making the images more unique and personal. And a lot of my props that I bring are unique and personal to me. Like the suitcase below. That once belonged to my Grandma. I inherited it when she passed away. It was filled with amazing buttons when I got it! And now it's filled with crocheted newborn hats which are handmade by me!
Twelve days after Jasper's glorious home birth (which can be seen here), I went back to the very place he entered this world to photograph the in-home family newborn session! He was very interested in my camera and was incredibly alert. His eyes are so mesmerizing. And his toes...my goodness, they're just the cutest! Scroll down to see!! These are some of my favourite shots from our session!
