Editorial portrait photography blends fashion, storytelling, and creative direction to create images that feel like they belong in a magazine. My editorial portrait sessions in Toronto focus on mood, styling, movement, and expression — resulting in bold, artistic portraits that feel cinematic, confident, and unmistakably personal.
What to expect
Step 1:
Let’s Talk
We start with a conversation about you — what you're drawn to, how you want to feel in the photographs, and what you'd love to create.
Step 2:
Creative Vision
From there, I develop the direction for your session — bringing together ideas for wardrobe, colour, mood, location and the overall feeling of the photographs.
Step 3:
Shoot Day
This is where we bring it all to life. I'll guide you through posing, movement and expression, so you never need to wonder what to do in front of the camera.
Step 4:
The Reveal
You'll receive a curated proof gallery from your session and choose the photographs you love most. From there, your final selections are carefully finished and delivered to you.
Investment
Editorial portraits are more than a photoshoot. They're a creative experience. Together we'll design images that feel expressive, intentional, and unmistakably you. From planning and styling to gentle direction during your session, every step is designed to help you feel comfortable, confident, and beautifully seen.

Always.
You don’t need to know how to pose or perform. I guide you gently the whole way so you can relax into it and actually enjoy the experience. Most clients are surprised by how natural it ends up feeling. -
You’re not alone — almost everyone says this at first.
Feeling a little unsure is completely normal, and you don’t have to “fix” that before coming in. My job is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and seen. Confidence often grows during the session itself. -
Not at all.
These sessions are for real people, not professional models. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s expression, presence, and personality. That’s where the magic lives. -
We plan this together.
You’ll receive guidance so your outfits match the mood and vision of your session. There’s also optional access to the client closet for pieces that photograph beautifully. You never have to figure it out alone. -
Yes — and many clients love making this part of the experience.
I can recommend talented artists who understand the editorial look and help you feel polished but still like yourself. -
Anyone craving a new chapter, a confidence boost, or a creative reset.
Some clients celebrate milestones. Others simply want to reconnect with themselves. There’s no “right” reason — wanting this experience is enough. -
You don’t have to arrive confident.
Many people book because they want to feel more like themselves again. This experience can be a gentle reminder of how powerful and expressive you already are. -
Absolutely.
You don’t need a special occasion or permission to take up space and be seen. Sometimes doing something just for yourself is the most meaningful reason of all.
This isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about seeing yourself differently.
When you’re ready to step into the frame,
your spotlight is waiting.
