Limited Frames, Unlimited Love.

I try to shoot 1 roll of film a week. Shooting with film is a GREAT way to practice catching the perfect moment because you can't just hammer away taking hundreds of pictures and hope for the best. You actually have to be aware and paying attention and be very present in the moment.

Here's a collection of my favourite photos from May! So in love. I shared my collection last month too which were awesome because in April I was using expired 35mm film.

Every month I will continue to share my favourite photos from the film I shot that month! There is just something about film that adds so much character to a photo and fills it with warmth. Digital will never replace film. And that's a great thing!

An Impromptu Laundry Day Photoshoot

When you see photos of Adelaide and Audrey, they are usually not dressed their best. Heck, sometimes they aren't dressed at all!! It's because most of the time I grab my camera on a whim, with no plans but to document them being them!

They haven't realized that chores aren't fun yet, so being laundry day, they were THRILLED! They pretty much do their own laundry now. Adelaide talks about when she's 4 and how she will be the "laundry dragon" for the family. Wouldn't that be nice!? HA.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

It's laundry day!!!!

Lifestyle Photography

What is lifestyle photography?

"Lifestyle photography is a style of portrait/people photography which aims to capture and document real-life events, situations, or milestones in an artistic manner and the art of the everyday."

Lifestyle portraits are undeniably special. They are taken out of the studio and in to your world which gives them a more editorial portrait feel on a more personal level. The photographs are brought to life and radiates the emotion to the viewers. There's no posing, no planning.

Just REAL life moments.

Here's a collection of lifestyle portraits that I had taken of my family a couple weeks ago so you can see for yourself just how incredibly genuine this style of photography is.

Consider having a photographer (like me) come document your life in your home, or follow you on one of your weekly outings, whether it's to the library, the grocery store, laundry mat, park, or perhaps a visit to Grandma and Grandpa's. Because these are REAL life moments. They are worth documenting!
