Later Newborn Sessions

One of the biggest stressors I get from parents wanting a newborn session is that they worry they won’t be ready in the first 2 weeks after baby is born. Sometimes moms needs a bit more time healing, or sometimes babies needs a little more time adjusting. Sometimes, lifestyle newborn sessions happen when babies are 8 weeks old! And that is okay.

A few months after this couples radiant winter maternity session, we did an in-home lifestyle newborn session when baby was almost 2 months old. They might just be the cutest stretcher and yawner! And those new smiles, oh my goodness. Melt!

Double Adorable!

We had such a wonderful lifestyle portrait session! The colours, the light, and the two adorable tots! I mostly just followed these two sweet brothers around as they explored. Their curiosity led them down paths throughout the urban forest until they settled in a leafy area to play with their trucks. Listening to the brother communicate if their own way, they complete understand each other because of course they have a connection like no one else. I have worked with many families that have twins and a couple who have triplets, and the connection the siblings have is really a beautiful thing to document.
