Here's a wonderful mini session I did in Winnipeg with my sister and her family! It's incredible what you can capture in one space and 20 minutes! Family sessions are really great for the kids! Not only do I pretty much encourage the children to lead us through the photoshoot which gives them control and they are more likely to open up to me allowing me to capture them honestly, but we are also creating images to put all over your home! Having portraits of your family on your walls is a great way to boost your children's self esteem and self worth because they will always remind them of the fun session (that's why a portrait session has to be a positive experience) and they are constantly being visually reminded that they are loved! So plaster your home with pictures! You'll find that it will even boost your self esteem!

Cherry Blossoms at High Park

A few weeks ago these gorgeous delicate flowers made their appearance which brought thousands and thousands of people to High Park to surround themselves with the beauty of this special event Mother Nature puts on for us once a year. They only last about a week, so if you blink, you might miss them! 
This was my first cherry blossom experience. To think of all the places I have travelled and all the things I have done, I couldn't believe I had never experienced this beautiful natural show before. What better way to experience it then to offer mini sessions!! Which is what I did! My first session went to my two little ladies of course! But I was blown away by the demand! I booked up, and it was awesome! The pictures are so dreamy and refreshing. I can't wait to do it all over again next year!!

Family Photos at The Bluffs

Wow, did I ever have a wonderful time with this lovely family! We wandered around this beautiful park in Toronto's east end just as the fall colours really started to blossom. The boys climbed trees, collected rocks, and chased each other down hills. The whole family even went for a dive in a huge pile of leaves!! We certainly got so many perfect pictures! Here's a collection of some of my favourites from the session.
