Limited Frames, Unlimited Love.

I try to shoot 1 roll of film a week. Shooting with film is a GREAT way to practice catching the perfect moment because you can't just hammer away taking hundreds of pictures and hope for the best. You actually have to be aware and paying attention and be very present in the moment.

Here's a collection of my favourite photos from May! So in love. I shared my collection last month too which were awesome because in April I was using expired 35mm film.

Every month I will continue to share my favourite photos from the film I shot that month! There is just something about film that adds so much character to a photo and fills it with warmth. Digital will never replace film. And that's a great thing!

A Spring Day at the Park with Expired 35mm.

I love film. There is nothing like it. It's so exciting all the time. I love the lack of control compared to what we're used to today. There's always a slight uncertainty. Especially when you are using expired film. You also can't just take hundreds of pictures like you can with digital. You really do have to wait for the moment. I LOVE it!

This past weekend, in celebration of the warm Spring weather, our little co-op family went to the park with mason jars of wine and beers to eat Polish sausages. I brought along my Pentax K1000 and 2 rolls of expired 35mm film to photograph our children as they played. The photos are perfect.
